Jon and Jessica’s wedding at The Elizabeth in Grand Bay, AL was incredibly sweet and full of love, tears and so much laughter!
The Elizabeth is a little gem in the woods on the outskirts of Mobile, AL. It’s best known for their ceremony space with the tall pines. The pines are decorated with curtains that line the “aisle” and it’s such a *moment* when they’re pulled back as the bride makes her way.
We started the day upstairs in the bridal suite with Jessica and her girls as they got ready. Music was playing and everyone was having the best time!
Downstairs, in the groom’s suite, the guys were playing pool and watching the Buccaneers and Seahawks play.
Before the ceremony, Jessica had some special moments with a few of the closest people in her life. We had first looks with her bridesmaids as well as her father and she gave gifts to both of her parents (as well as her groom to be).
Both Jon and Jessica had two of the most thoughtful letters they shared with each other. It was so sweet to hear the love they have for one another and see the emotion as both of them spoke.
Once we got to the ceremony, Jon was turned around so he couldn’t see his bride. But he was already incredibly emotional, anticipating her arrival. His reaction was one of the best we’ve had the opportunity to witness.
As we moved into the reception and captured their perfectly rehearsed dances (both bride and groom and Jon with his new daughters), the weather got incredibly chilly! Guests were keeping warm with blankets and coats but it didn’t stop them getting on the dance floor!
Before the night was over, it was time for our bride and groom to go through their grand sparkler tunnel exit and say goodnight to all of their guests and family!
It was such a beautiful day — congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Collier!
