When we first met Amber and Jacob last year, we instantly fell in love with their energy!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Amber not smiling from ear to ear and the way Jacob looks at her is pure bliss.
As always, we started the day off getting details. I love the warm pops of color she chose that you see incorporated throughout the day and Amber’s white boots were the perfect touch for this southern bride!
Their day was filled with lots of happy tears (and laughter), which started out with the sweetest first looks with both her dad and step-dad.
Then, it was time for their first touch. If you’re wanting to keep your wedding day a little more traditional and don’t want to do a first look, we highly recommend doing a first touch! It can help calm nerves before the ceremony and adds another sweet moment to your day with your favorite person.
After we had a moment to wipe our tears, the day quickly moved on and we were ready to get these two married!
As you first enter the ceremony space, you’re surrounded by an actual tunnel of oak trees (a literal oak hollow)! It’s one of the most iconic places for a Fairhope wedding if you’re looking for a classic barn with southern charm.
When Amber walked through the doors, the light peeked through the branches and it was something close to magical. Then we turned around to see Jacob nearly drop to his knees as he saw his bride for the first time. It’s one of the most emotional moments and you could feel love between these two.
Amber and Jacob exchanged vows, said “I do” and branded their initials into a piece of wood that will be a feature in their new home.
As the newlyweds were introduced as husband and wife, we were ready to party!
The reception is one of our favorite parts of the day. We LOVE to get on the dance floor with you and your friends.
We catch the highs and (drop it down) lows and all the spins in between. It’s where we see so much of our couple’s personalities!
As the sun set and Amber and Jacob’s wedding day was near finished, we celebrated one last time as they made their grand exit through a tunnel of sparklers!
A kiss, a dip and that’s it my friends!
Congrats to the new Mr. + Mrs. Howard! Take a look below to see a sneak peek of their beautiful Fairhope wedding!
