We’re obsessed with Carlos and Amanda’s Bragg-Mitchell Mansion wedding photos AND video!
Their black tie wedding was elegant, timeless and so much fun. They had a dream team that we were so glad to work with!
We started the day at Carlos and Amanda’s house while the girls got ready and we captured some details.
As the afternoon approached, it was time for us to head to the Bragg for first looks and portraits.
Thankfully, a few weeks before their wedding day, we were able to have the most perfect bridal session with Amanda! Bridal sessions help with the wedding day timeline so much — highly recommend.
At the Bragg, we started with first looks upstairs in the bridal suite with Amanda’s bridesmaids, then her father. Then we made our way downstairs for the big moment — Carlos and Amanda’s first look.
They wanted it to be private so we chose a quiet space in the back while the reception was being set up in the front. Carlos was so happy to see his bride! It’s always one of our favorite moments of the day (whether it’s during a first look or at the ceremony)!
After their first look, we snuck in some newlywed and family portraits, and then headed to St. Ignatius Catholic Church for their ceremony.
Y’all. This church is a stunner! It’s a photographer’s dream church with crispy white walls, beautiful stained glass and wood floors. It was so elegant and we loved getting to see these two say “I do,” surrounded by all their friends and family.
We stuck around the church for a few to get some more photos (how can you not?!) and then we made our way to the reception at the Bragg.
Just as we arrived, a major storm rolled in but thankful it held off as long as it did!
We were entertained by the Tip Tops band — they got the whole crowd moving and singing along! The rest of the night was filled with dancing, laughter and the greatest time was had.
Before the night was over, their vintage 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible arrived. What a beauty! This unrestored, black and white classic complemented their elegant black tie wedding so well. We had to steal them away for a few photos! We’ve been seeing a lot of vintage cars lately and we’re here. for. it.
As the night was wrapping up, all of Carlos and Amanda’s guests lined up along the driveway — confetti in hands (biodegradable, of course). The newlyweds made their way through the cheering crowd and drove off into the night!
It was such a beautiful day — wish we could relive it all over again (but that’s why we do what we do)! Take a look at their gallery below to see for yourself!
